What it is
An implant is a titanium post placed where the root of the missing tooth was. Your bone grows around it over a few months, and then a porcelain crown is fitted on top. It’s the closest thing to getting the tooth back.
Our price is for the whole thing — post, connector and crown. Some offices quote the post alone and add the rest later. If you need a bone graft first, we’ll know from the 3D scan and it’ll be on the estimate before you decide.

What happens
Scan and plan
A 3D scan shows exactly how much bone you have. You get a written plan with every stage priced.
Place the implant
About an hour, under local anaesthetic (or sedation, if you’d rather). Most people go back to work the next day.
Let it heal
Three to five months while the bone bonds to the post. You can have a temporary tooth if it’s a visible spot.
Fit the crown
A scan, then the final porcelain crown is fitted about two weeks later.
